Torture machines, up to 28 set, Customs Port

The Customs of the Port is hosting an exhibition that has gone through more than 10 countries and surpassed one million visitors. “Machinery of Torture” tells the period of the Inquisition, with over 50 original parts, restorations and replicas of instruments of torture used between the thirteenth and seventeenth centuries.
The aim of the exhibition is to pass to the public, as historical memory, the extent of institutionalized cruelty and raise awareness against torture and in favor of free-thinking.
